The Neck / Body joint utilizes 1/16” (.065) flat wood shim to ensure that the guitar strings are elevated from the body sufficiently to allow KSM Bridge string height Adjustments.

Measure roughly .015” between bottom string and top of 7th, 8th and 9th Fret
